Welcome to the music department at Montmorency School. Throughout many years of making music, my goal is to pass down my passion for making music to our students.

Last year, the music program has grown. We have purchased new curriculum books for the general music classes. The fourth and fifth grade students will be challenged to become black belts in Recorder Karate. The Kindergarteners through second graders performed "The Littlest Christmas Tree" in the winter, while the third through fifth graders performed "A Kid's Life" in their Spring concert. 

During the students time at Montmorency, I would like them to learn many various aspects of music - especially how to play different instruments. Recently, the Montomorency Music Boosters have purchased a few guitars this year in hopes to begin a guitar class for students in the future.

There has been a major increase in band students. Every student has been working hard to build the band program this year. Students in advanced band get the opportunity to play with the high school band during half-time at one of their home football games. In the future, we hope to start our own marching band and pep-band to play at various sporting activities at Montmorency. I hope to see more band students each year 

My goal with this website is to use it as means of communication. The calender will have dates upcoming events for band and general music. You will find our handbooks, links, practice tips, pictures, and other information as it becomes necessary.
